What we do.
Led by Sophie as Creative Director, the Sophie Hart Studio team are a group of experienced, exceptional designers who work on a rotation of creative jobs for both ongoing retainer clients and new projects.
Design is a lens through which we see the world, and that can extend to any project – small or large. From conceptualising the look and feel of a wedding, to creating sets and styling locations for advertising campaigns, and sourcing distinctive furnishings, upholstery, and art to execute the ‘barefoot luxury’ of The House Lizard Island.

Sophie Hart and her team have had the extraordinary pleasure of working on some of Australia’s landmark interior projects. Collaborating with a hand-picked group of skilled craftsmen, builders and artisans, Sophie oversees each task with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a smooth process from the initial brief and design concept through to the completion of the build and styling of each room.

Every styling project is unique and SHS responds with an equally unique solution. From ideation to consultation and production, we style all subjects to look like the best version of themselves.

I think good design is settling and gives off a feeling that can only be felt in that particular space. It’s like the wow factor at first but then you just want to settle in, feel welcome and at home.
